There are just 16 teams left in M(art)ch Madness 2015, the tournament to decide the greatest artist of the 20th century.
Upsets abounded. Henri Matisse, the No. 1 seed in the Berlin regional, was booted by No. 8 Edward Hopper. In the same bracket, Rene Magritte (No. 11) ousted No. 3 Gerhard Richter. No. 11 seeds Gustav Klimt and Man Ray also survived.
Elsewhere, chalk prevailed. In the New York regional, all top four seeds advanced, setting up huge match-ups: Jackson Pollock vs. Roy Lichtenstein and Jasper Johns vs. Piet Mondrian.
